Hello, I'm Parul,

A CSE graduate from Odisha University of Technology and Research .

I am fond of automation and new age technologies and currently focused on Blockchain technology, DevOps tools.

Being a part of the Kubernetes Open Source community, I also like the whole concept of Open Sourcing and endorse it to a great extent, within my reach. I am always looking forward to bagging new opportunities to gain knowledge of something new or getting a deeper insight of technologies that I am already aware of.

Jun 2022 - Aug 2022| Internship
  • Selected as a Mentee to Crossplane as part of the LFX Mentorship program for Summer'22.
  • Worked on adding automated tests for pulling packages from private registries supported by Crossplane.
  • And drafted relevant documenation for the same.
Software Developer @Launchnodes
Jan 2022 - Mar 2022| Internship
  • Worked on managing Ethereum Beacon and Validator nodes on behalf of clients to help make Eth staking easier.
  • Handling AWS Elastic Container Service to furnish and manage the Beacon and Validator nodes using CloudFormation templates.
  • Researched about Internet of Blockchain(IBC) and associated Blockchains.
Release Team Member @Kubernetes
Aug 2021 - Dec 2022| Open Source Contribution
  • Received the opportunity to serve in the Kubernetes Release team for 3 release cycles consecutively.
  • Served as a Release Notes shadow for v1.23 and v1.24, generated release notes and release notes website patches using Krel.
  • In v1.26 & v1.25 performed the tasks of tracking enhancements and deprecations implemented during that release cycle as an Enhancements shadow.
  • Also worked as a SIG-CLI reviewer mentee for the ladder cohort.
Open Source Contributor @Appsmith
Oct 2021 - Nov 2021| Open Source Contribution
  • Joined Appsmith during Hacktoberfest to contribute as an open source enthusiast and became an Appsmith Top contributor 2021 .
  • Created simple applications using the Appsmith API while having Notion and Amazon Redshift as Data sources. And drafted tutorials for setting up Notion and Amazon Redshift as Data sources.
  • Also added an auto-complete feature for Styled components.

  • Worked on personal skill enhancement and project development. I also became an AWS Academy Graduate and completed the Cisco Netacad Cybersecurity internship during this tenure.
  • During my initial years I helped with website developemnt for the technical fest, Zairzest'21.
  • As a core member I mentored juniors to explore Blockchain and DevOps and eventually became the Hack Club chapter lead.

Fibonacci Calculator
  • A simple webpage to calculate the Fibonacci series upto a given index.
  • The users can input natural numbers as input and shall receive the Fibonacci series upto that indes as output. They can also view the past indices that were provided as input.

  • A crowdfunding applicatrion to generate funding for farmers in the form of Cryptocurrency using Web3 libraries.
  • The website maintainers can create campaigns for different farmers and create requests to generate fundings for various purposes.
